The Columbus Crossing Borders film "Breathe Free" is a beautifully moving and powerful documentary that spotlights the stories of refugees and the art exhibit inspired by those stories.  Through the lens of filmmaker Doug Swift, we are introduced to those who have fled war, terror and horrific conditions. We meet the dedicated souls who offer them comfort, support and advocacy. We witness the unease and restless fear surrounding US border issues.  And we learn how this leads to 34 artists producing a project based on this timeless plight of refugees.
